About Romarchive

Romarchive is a personal project dedicated to preserving and cataloging retro video game ROMs. Our mission is to ensure that classic video games remain accessible for study, emulation, and historical preservation.

Collection

The archive spans multiple platforms including NES, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, and more. Each title is carefully cataloged with metadata including title, platform, release year, publisher, and region.

History

The project was started in April 2025 as a small personal collection and has grown into a comprehensive archive spanning many platforms.

Legal

This site hosts ROM files for backup and archival purposes. You should only download files that you already own physically. Treat this as your personal off-site backup — if you do not own the original media, do not download. Rights holders who wish for content to be removed may contact us.
